We don't pretend to be Birmingham's only option; the city has excellent tyers. Birmingham is our longest regular midweek journey — around ninety-five miles down the M1 and round on the M42, which is comfortably two hours once you account for anything going on around the M6 junctions.
Birmingham hardly needs an introduction where turbans are concerned: Handsworth, Smethwick and the Soho Road corridor form one of the most significant Sikh communities anywhere in Britain, and there is no shortage of skill locally. Families book us from Doncaster for a particular style, for continuity when we have tied for the family before, or simply because they want the same hands on the groom that they have used previously. We are glad to make the drive.
The practical consequence of the distance is timing: for a wedding morning in Birmingham we are leaving Doncaster very early indeed, so we need your schedule confirmed further ahead than for a Yorkshire booking.
