Coventry is around ninety miles south, down the M1 and across on the M6 — a shade under two hours on a good run. The Sikh community here is long-established and centred on Foleshill and the north of the city, and we travel down for wedding mornings through the season.
One genuinely local consideration: the M6 around Coventry is among the least predictable stretches of motorway in the country. For an early ceremony we plan to arrive well before we strictly need to, and we would rather sit in the car outside your house for twenty minutes than explain why the groom is being tied in a hurry.
