Huddersfield is about forty miles across, up the M1 and over on the M62. The Sikh community here is long-established and concentrated around Fartown and Birkby, and we travel across Kirklees regularly — Dewsbury, Batley and Mirfield included.
The one thing worth flagging about Huddersfield mornings is the M62. It is a reliable road most of the time and a genuinely unpredictable one at rush hour or in bad weather, so for anything before nine we build in a larger buffer than the map suggests. That is our problem rather than yours, but it is why we will ask for your timings early.
