Leeds is a thirty-mile run up the A1(M) and M1, which puts us on your doorstep inside an hour. It is one of the cities we travel to most, largely because Leeds has one of the largest and longest-established Sikh communities in the north of England, concentrated around Chapeltown and Harehills.
Wedding mornings in Leeds tend to follow a familiar shape: the family gathering somewhere in the north or east of the city, a gurdwara ceremony, and a reception at one of the larger venues further out. We plan around that pattern — the drive is short enough that we can arrive early without an unreasonable start, and short enough that a pre-wedding fitting in Doncaster is a realistic ask rather than a chore.
