Halifax is the furthest of our regular West Yorkshire runs — around forty-eight miles and the best part of an hour and a half once you allow for the M62 and the climb into Calderdale.
Calderdale is worth a specific mention because the geography genuinely affects the planning. Towns here sit in valleys with winding connecting roads, and what looks like four miles between Halifax and Sowerby Bridge on a map is not four miles of dual carriageway. If your wedding party is spread across the valley, tell us where everyone actually is and we will build the route properly rather than discovering it on the morning.
